It was 2014 when i first visited Shinjuku.Tokyo`s most busiest district.Having just arrived in Shinjuku i had no idea what to do. Shinjuku Train station is the busiest train station .With a lot of locals and foreigners,Shinjuku is busy almost everyday.I was suprised by the train system.Japan rail system is well known for it punctuality.
Best Thing to do in Shinjuku
1.Shinjuku Gyoen
Shinjuku Gyoen is one of the Tokyo’s largest and most popular parks.Its kanji name is 新宿御苑(Shinjuku Gyoken). Although there are different ways to go to Shinjuku Gyoen,the most convenient way to get to this gate is from the JR Shinjuku Station. Its takes only 10 minutes from Sinjuku station.In spring Shinjuku Gyoen becomes one of the best places in the city to see cherry blossoms. 2.Food
You wil find lot of restaurant ,pub everywhere in shinjuku which are open tll night.Some restaurant are 24 hour Opening.
I tied yakitori for the first time and it was so tasty. Yakitori means chicken or pork in Stick.Having yakitori with beer is really great.
Drink till night or go to karaoke after drink.Karaoke is also really fun.
3.Hanging aroud Shinjuku station.
Hanging aroud Shinjuku station??Yes,you read this correctly.There are so many shopping places in Shinjuku station,You cannot imagine how big the shinjuku station is unless you come to Shinjuku.Shinjuku is among the world`s busiest station with 2 million daily passengers.
NO matter how busy the places is ,there is always incredible order.
4.Metropolitan Government Building
Metropolitan Government Building is just a few minutes walk from Shinjuku station.In a perfect weather you can see SkyTree,TokyoTower and little parts of Mt.Fuji.
Metropolitan Government Building is free to observe.
