WHAT IS GO-TO TRAVEL CAMPAIGN?The “Go To Travel Campaign” is a tourism support program in which the government subsidizes up to 50 percent of travel with accommodation and day trips to increase the market for travel that has plummeted as a result of the latest coronavirus.The breakdown of the subsidy amount is that 35% of the ticket price is subsidized on tourism items, and 15% is a “regional local voucher” that can be used extensively by registered travel destination member shops and use of the entire tourist destination. Targeted DateThe start date is for trips after July 22, 2020 and the deadline for implementation is supposed to end January 2021.
